Shopmobility Belfast is delighted to announce it was one of only eight charities in the province to be shortlisted for the final of Peoples Milllions on UTV. Peoples Millions funding would allow Shopmobility Belfast to run project “Tyre Out!”.

“Tyre Out!” project is aimed at young people with physical disability in the 15- 35 age group, across Northern Ireland. It will provide ‘cool’ and modern mobility equipment to assist these young people and make getting around the countryside of Northern Ireland more easily.

Director Ann Collins says:

“This equipment could change the lives of many young people across NI by allowing access to countryside and outdoor activities many others take for granted “.

If the funding is successful the project is due to start on Spring 2008.
